Save money with the Government’s Energy Efficient Appliance Rebate
With the Energy Efficient Appliance Rebate you can now save up to $300 on eligible air conditioners that have a 4-star or more energy rating to be installed in residential premises, limited to one unit per household.
Most 2.5kw and 3.5kw (and some 5kw) Panasonic air-conditioners designed for small room use such as bedrooms and studies are rated ‘4-star’ and qualify for the rebate. We can also get great deals on Mitsubishi and Daikin 4-star rated units as well.
Is it right for me?
To qualify, the unit must have a 4-star energy efficiency rating, not to be confused with any other customer satisfaction or price rating systems. This rating is generally applicable to smaller sized units as the larger sized units designed for bigger spaces generally don’t have a the 4-star rating as the larger the unit, the more energy it consumes.
